Booking your first Swedish massage in Glenside? Start by choosing a session length, deciding what you would like from your visit and making an appointment. At Jin’s Massage, appointments are required. You can book online through Fresha or call us to arrange your visit and ask about services.

You do not need to know massage terminology. Saying that you want a quiet hour, prefer lighter pressure or would like more attention on your shoulders is a useful place to start.

What is Swedish massage?

Swedish massage uses smooth, flowing strokes at a relaxing pace. If you are comparing it with Deep Tissue Massage, think about the kind of session you want rather than assuming that stronger pressure is always better. Ask us which service fits your preferences before you book.

A service name does not tell your therapist everything about you. Let them know what feels comfortable, which areas you would like them to focus on and any areas you do not want massaged.

How do I choose a session?

Look at both the service name and the length of the appointment. Jin’s Massage offers several Swedish Massage durations, along with Deep Tissue Massage, Foot Massage and couples options. The services page and Fresha booking menu show the available choices and current prices.

  • Choose the service you actually want, not just the first available time.
  • Check the duration and price before confirming.
  • For a couples appointment, select the couples service rather than assuming one individual booking reserves two places.
  • If you want foot massage as well, compare the separate Foot Massage and combination services before booking.

Not sure which option to choose? Call first. It is easier to sort out the details before an appointment than to arrive with a different service in mind.

What should I do before my first visit?

Check your confirmation for the date, time and service. Plan your journey so you have time to find the studio without rushing. If you need to change an appointment, check the booking terms and contact us as early as you can.

Wear something comfortable and easy to change out of. Before the session starts, ask your therapist to explain how to prepare and how you will be covered. You can ask questions at any point; there is no need to guess what to do.

What should I tell my therapist?

A few clear preferences are more useful than trying to describe a perfect massage. You might say, “I prefer lighter pressure,” “Please avoid this area,” or “I would like a quieter session.”

Speak up if the pressure, position or room temperature is uncomfortable. You can ask for an adjustment or for the session to stop. You do not need to wait until the end to mention something.

Yes. Appointments are required at Jin’s Massage. Use our online booking link to check available times, or call (267) 682-5168 to arrange your visit and ask questions. Before your first visit: compare Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, choose a session length or read what to wear.
